This song was written in like ten minutes while I was sitting next to my bathtub trying not to have a panic attack, for reasons that are now completely different than they used to be. This song pretty much is just the longing for someone, even if they might be right in front of you, or even if they are really inaccessible. It's really just a big old pile of friend-based nostalgia.
Anyway, here's a recording of me singing it at 12:00 at night in a (literal) closet with a slightly out-of-tune ukulele.
